Cookies and browser storage
Last updated: October 2026
Which cookies and browser storage UtilityRanch uses: no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, only local storage that keeps your planner entries on your device.
What the website stores in your browser
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of information that a website saves in your browser. UtilityRanch only stores what is needed for features you use yourself:
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | How long | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
tool:<tool>:v1 |
Local storage | UtilityRanch (this website) | Saves what you enter in a planner or tracker in the Templates section, so your work is still there when you come back. One entry per planner. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. | Until you press the planner's Reset button or clear your browser's data for this site | Strictly necessary |
What the website does not use
The website does not use analytics, advertising, social media or other tracking cookies, and it does not load scripts, fonts, videos or other content from other companies' servers. The calculators and the file tools in the Tools section store nothing in your browser.
Why there is no cookie banner
Under EU and Finnish law, storage that is strictly necessary for a service you have asked for does not require consent. Because the website uses nothing else, there is nothing to accept or reject. If analytics or advertising are ever added, the website will ask for your consent before they load, you will be able to change or withdraw your choice at any time, and this page will be updated first.
How to delete stored data
You can delete a planner's saved entries with its Reset button, or delete everything this website has stored by clearing the site data in your browser settings. If you block local storage, the planners still work but cannot remember your entries.
Changes and more information
This page is updated whenever the website starts storing something new in your browser. The privacy notice explains how personal data is processed and what your rights are.
